Action SA Join Mamelodi Youth for Mandela Day

Action SA and Mamelodi Youth assisted at the Stanza Bopape 2 clinic in phase 5 for Mandela day to provide free supper and other physical activities.

Oupa Mathibela, Action SA Tshwane Regional chairperson said as Action SA, the party adhered to the Mandela Day concept, which focuses on encouraging household gardens, tree planting, and raising awareness of the connections between food security and climate change.

“We want to continue doing a lot of things for our communities including planting and growing inexpensive, fresh produce for the needy for their well-being,” he said.

Ms Nancy Segota, from the Department of Health, said the personnel at the clinic are thankful for Action SA for making the day successful,” she said.

Ms Vuyo Links, a community member, said the day was good, “we even sang, and everything we did gave many of us newfound optimism. People’s joyous attitudes are heartwarming and it is encouraging to see in the clinic,” she said.
